In September voices from grassroots organisations from South Asia and Latin America will meet Swedish politicians, international academics and other civil society organisations for a four day conference on sustainable development, equality and development cooperation. Glocal Development Talks! is arranged by Svalorna Indien Bangladesh on 20-23 September at Lund City library (Stadsbiblioteket) and at AF-borgen.

Sukanta Sen, founder of avBangladesh Resource Centre for Indigenous Knowledge (BARCIK) that works with climate issues and biodiversity in Bangladesh. BARCIK has presented research at COP15 in Copenhagen and has more than 20 years experience in action research natural resource management.
